Augusta State Airport (AUG). Located in Maine's capital city, Augusta State Airport offers regularly scheduled passenger service to and from Boston, as well as links to other Maine locations.

Central Maine Airport
Located in the Kennebec Valley town of Norridgewock. Also provides access to skiing and golf at Sugarloaf/USA.

Jackman-Newton Field
Offers proximity to numerous recreational opportunities, including famed whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River.

Lakeside Marina
Located on Cobbosseecontee Lake in Kennebec County.

Moose River Seaplane Base
Located on the Moose River in Jackman.

Pittsfield Municipal Airport
Offers parachute flights, active aero club and flight instruction.

Located in the heartland of Central Maine.

Greyhound/Vermont Transit This line provides daily service from Bar Harbor (seasonal) Bangor, Waterville, Augusta, Lewiston, Brunswick, Portland and Wells to Boston’s South Station with direct thru service to and from New York City.

Kennebec Valley Transit. Serving Augusta, Hallowell, Farmingdale, Gardiner, Waterville and Fairfield.

Western Maine Transportation Service, Inc. Owned by the Lewiston-Auburn Transit Committee (LATC), provides public fixed-route bus service in the Lewiston-Auburn area. LATC contracts with Western Maine Transportation Services, Inc., to operate and maintain the fixed-route bus system, as well as, provide ADA complementary paratransit service. Citylink operates Monday through Friday.

The Kennebec & Moose River Valley by Car

For those travelers interested in taking a trip back in time - a drive along Old Canada Road - now US Route 201 - leads through towns where turn-of-the-century homes line the main streets. This scenic byway also passes through The Forks, an area which is famous among whitewater rafting enthusiasts.

Park and Ride Park & Ride. MDOT and the Maine Turnpike Authority maintain Park and Ride parking lots where travelers leave their vehicles, and where commuters can connect with car and vanpools.
