Maine Commuter Connections
This free commuter assistance program provides services to
commuters who live, work, or travel throughout the State of
Maine. Commuter services include:
- Carpool and vanpool ridematching using a computerized
database of commuters and commuter information
- Carpool support, including the Emergency Ride Home Guarantee,
regular prize giveaways, and other ridesharing incentives
- Commuter information and referrals on regional transportation
options

maintain Park and Ride parking lots where
commuters can connect with car and vanpools.

ZOOM
ZOOM Turnpike Express is a weekday commuter bus service
operated by ShuttleBus, and serving commuters traveling
between Biddeford/Saco to downtown Portland. Stops are
located at Turnpike Park & Ride lots (Exit 5, Saco
and Exit 4 Biddeford) in as well as several METRO
stops in Portland:
- Forest Ave. near Congress St. (with nearby connections
to the Maine Medical Center shuttle)
- Congress Street near Monument Square
- METRO Pulse on Elm Street (Downtown)
- Forest Ave. in front of Pier 1 Imports (near USM)
