Sightseeing trips over Northern Maine, which includes Baxter State Park and the Allagash Wilderness Waterway are available from the Shin Pond Seaplane Base. We are conveniently located in Patten, Maine - The North Entrance to Baxter State Park. Transportation to and from our wilderness camps, as well as other sporting lodges in the area, also is available. Some cabins are accessible by float plane only, and there is abundant wildlife for the energetic hunter and fisherman. As a part of our service, we will pick you up from any connecting commercial flight for your wilderness journey, and return you to the airport.
